Although Versaquip rubber tracks are made to last, proper care and maintainence will make it last even longer. To prolong the life cycle of our rubber track:
- Avoid operating rubber tracks in the environments that it is not designed to work in. Such as sharp rocky terrain, concrete and metal debris etc...
- Prior to fitting your new rubber tracks, please check your drive system components for wear and tear.
- Minimise rubber tracks exposure to the sun, long term exposure of the tracks to the sun will shorten the tracks lifespan. Operating temperature range is between -25 to +55c.
- Regular weekly checks on rubber track tension.
- To avoid unnecessary wear of rubber track/rubber pads and drive components always:
- Rotate rubber tracks from left to right on a regular basis
- Drive up or down a slope instead of reversing
- Avoid making frequent sudden spin or hard pivot turns
- Avoid high speed ramming into concrete curbs or walls with the sides of the rubber track/rubber pads
